On Two Fronts \/\/ Rotem Codish<\/p>\n
Rotem Codish, 29, is an illustrator and designer holding a bachelor’s degree and currently pursuing a master\u2019s degree at Shenkar.\u00a0\u201cI live with my husband, Peleg, and our dog, Tova, in Moshav Sdeh Moshe.<\/p>\n
On October 7th, Peleg received his emergency draft order (Tzav 8) and was deployed to fight in Gaza. When he returned after months without communication, we were no longer the same people we had been before the war. To cope with the situation, I embarked on a 100-day project, creating one illustration each day, documenting intimate moments, pain, and hope.<\/p>\n
The book \u201cOn Two Fronts\u201d is a graphic journal that captures the complexity of life during wartime, shedding light on its impact on relationships. Our story is not just personal – it reflects the experience of countless couples facing distance and crisis.
