Hila and Ran Broides, Technion graduates with honors from 2003, gained extensive experience as employees in leading architecture firms in New York and Israel before establishing their own firm in 2017.
Their office is located in the basement of their private home, and their work focuses primarily on the design of private homes and luxury apartments. They have also designed commercial spaces and offices of various scales, as well as urban renewal projects.
In their view, the quality of space in architecture is the cornerstone of design and derives, among other things, from spatial hierarchy, the connection between interior and exterior, and the use of natural light.
A well-designed home takes functional account of its occupants’ needs in a way that allows for flexibility over time. The architecture of Broides Architects is restrained and aspires to be timeless.
